About Our Yarns

Our yarns are produced in small batches a few skeins at a time.  Each batch, even of the same colorways can produce different results.  Our batches are lovingly dyed with you the fiber artist in mind, who will appreciate the color variations and working with them as much as we enjoy creating them for you.  If we were to have strict formulas for each batch then we would be no different than the larger companies who mass produce 'handpainted' yarns.

We are always on the look-out for new & different yarns to dye and some of these will be in limited quantities, not offered by larger companies.  We try to find different textures, weights, and fiber contents that you won't find elsewhere to make your special project truly one-of-a-kind.  You can find these and other clearance priced offerings on our Clearance page.
