 Beaded Purse Necklace

Janet has fallen in love with the tiny beaded, knitted purse necklaces.  She will have the kits already put together with beads, beading needle, knitting needles, thread and instructions. Kits should run between $25-30. This will be an off and on project during the course of the week end.
 

Navajo Plying

Krista Wardecker has offered to teach anyone interested how to Navajo ply.   This technique produces a nicely rounded 3 ply yarn from a single ply.

Needle Felting

Jane from Fiberonthemountain.com will teach a needle felting class of flat and/or 3 dimensional ornaments/animals/open to participants interests. She will bring the fiber, needle and foam kits, $10 per participant payable at the time of the class.  Please contact Jane directly jplaugher@earthlink.net and she'll have your kit all ready to go!

Magic Loop Socks

Christina will do a demo for anyone who has wondered about knitting a sock on one 40" circular needle for anyone who is interested.

2 Socks At Once One One Needle

Christina will also give a demo for anyone who would like to get over the SSS (Second Sock Syndrome)

Using the Drop Spindle

Interested in learning how to use a drop spindle? Here is your chance! The workshop will include your spindle, roving and instructions on how to use one. You will be learning the park and draft method and there is no need to have super long arms because you can do this method sitting down!  All you will need to do is show up ~ relax and have fun. Pictures on spindle will vary, but will look like the one in picture. To make sure there will be enough spindles, please e-mail Brenda at kbcraig@verizon.net.  Workshop cost $10.00 payable to Brenda at the time of the class.
